■Gibson■ Vintage Replica Large Size Brass Thumbwheel

Vintage replica large-size thumbwheel nuts compatible with Gibson's ABR-1.

- These are large-size thumb nuts, manufactured to the same diameter as vintage ones.

- Made in Japan with precision stud holes, unlike overseas or genuine Gibson parts, resulting in less wobble.

- It's common to see ABRs tilted due to wobbly thumbwheels, even if the studs are stable.

- A wobbly or tilted ABR can lead to intonation issues and diminished body resonance, among other problems.

- We've purchased several overseas products, but many, even non-aged ones, had significant wobble, causing ABRs to tilt and negatively impacting the sound despite their appearance.

- The diameter is approximately 16mm, about 1mm larger in diameter than Historic Collection and True Historic models.

- The thickness is approximately 2.5mm, the same as current Historic Collection and True Historic models.

*Note: Older Historic Collection models have a thickness of 2.7mm, so these will be slightly thinner than older Historic Collection parts.

- Material is brass alloy with an aged nickel-plated finish.

- Specifically for Gibson inch posts, compatible with Les Paul, SG, Flying V, Firebird, and other models using ABRs.

- Price is for a set of 2.
