Schaller Tremolo for Les Paul and other guitars

This is a Tremolo Les Paul, chrome color, formerly manufactured by Schaller.

■ Details
As the name suggests, it's a tremolo that can be attached to a Les Paul type bridge.
The EVO aluminum guitar, used by Susumu Hirasawa and HISASHI of GLAY, was released by Ikebe Musical Instruments. This tremolo was mounted on the early models of the EVO, and this is the part that was removed from an EVO purchased new around that time.

The current EVO uses a Gotoh 510 (specially processed to be 27mm or less), and the reason for this is that Schaller has discontinued production of this tremolo.
(This is a common story with specification changes.)

It was advertised as being a direct bolt-on for the Schaller Nashville bridge, which is also used on the EVO. Since I don't use the arm and intended to immediately replace it with a Nashville bridge and stop tailpiece as advertised,

I procured the parts before buying the EVO, bought the EVO, and replaced it on the same day. Therefore, this tremolo was only used during test playing before being removed. (I like its appearance.)

There are mechanisms for arming Les Paul type guitars, such as the well-known Bigsby and the Goldo Les Trem, but each has its pros and cons and a certain romantic appeal.

It's rare to see these used, and even rarer in near-mint condition, so please consider it if you're interested.
