These are saddles from a 1962 Fender Jazzmaster. I purchased them on Mercari and installed them on my Fender AVRI Jaguar.
Given the era, I believe they are made of Cold Rolled Steel. The grub screws have rounded tips.
When installed, I felt that the splashy sound of the strings was suppressed, resulting in a slightly rougher, thicker tone. Of course, this is subjective.
It's often said that vintage saddles change the sound, and there are articles online that verify this (though for Stratocasters), so you might find it interesting to refer to those.
I'm selling them because I haven't been playing my Jaguar much lately and I'm short on cash.
Saddles alone are rarely available, so please consider them.
