#shinichi3611's Product List

Thank you for viewing.
This is a Shino Mizusashi (water container for tea ceremony), the masterpiece of Kozo Kato, a master of Mino ware and a Living National Treasure.

Mr. Kato sadly passed away in 2023.
The fact that new works imbued with his spirit will never be created again is an immeasurable loss to the Japanese art world. His remaining works are expected to be further deified, and their rarity and market value will continue to increase. This piece is a historical treasure, stored in a secure double box, where you can feel the breath of the master.

[Size]
Width: approx. 17.0 cm x Depth: approx. 16.0 cm x Height: approx. 18.5 cm

[Artwork Appeal]
The soft feldspar glaze creates a beautiful Yuzuhada (citrus peel texture), with a magnificent crimson hue emerging from within. The contrast with the powerful iron painting condenses the master's mature skills as a Living National Treasure.
It is highly regarded not only as a top-quality tea ceremony utensil but also as a unique three-dimensional artwork that commands attention in any space (decorative object/Art Object), and is highly valued by wealthy individuals overseas.

[Condition]
Excellent condition with no cracks or chips. His Ko (加) character is powerfully inscribed near the base.

[Accessories]
- Tomobako (signed and sealed by the artist)
- Outer box (double box)
- Ceramic lid
- Lacquered lid (black lacquer)
- Yellow cloth
- Booklet
*This is a complete set, including the double box and lacquered lid which are crucial for its value.

Don't miss this opportunity to acquire a lifelong heirloom that can never be obtained again.
