【Unused Item】 Tea Ceremony Utensil, Gourd-Shaped Mizusashi (Freshwater Container), with Lid, Amber Glaze, Kiln Change, Excellent Scenery, Artist's Work

♦︎ Immediate purchase is welcome ♪

♦︎ This is an unused item from 50 years ago that was displayed on a tea ceremony shelf. I am listing it because I no longer practice tea ceremony at home and am organizing my storage.

♦︎ This is a gourd-shaped mizusashi (water container).
The unique constricted shape and the glaze's scenery flowing from the deep amber color at the top to the calm black at the bottom are very beautiful, and I believe it is an item that will add dignity to your tea ceremony.
After a little research, it seems to be Takatori ware.
There is a mark (stamp) on the base (bottom), but it is difficult to decipher, so please check and judge from the images (Photo 15).

♦︎ Photos of the entire item (Photos 1-7)

♦︎ I believe it is in very good condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing.

♦︎ There are original firing unevenness (blue circle) and paint unevenness (yellow circle). Please check in the photos (Photo 16).

♦︎ There are no major scratches, minor scratches that appear to be due to age-related deterioration, or noticeable stains. I believe it is in good condition.

♦︎ Although it is a new item, it has been stored at home for a long time, so it is listed as near unused.

♦︎ Only the mizusashi is for sale.
