The warm beige ground is accented with rich shades of red, black, cream, muted blue, olive, gold, and earthy brown for a striking Mid-Century Modern folk-art look.  Believed to date to approximately the 1960s–1970s, when South American textiles and handcrafted folk art became especially popular in Mid-Century and bohemian interiors.
