This is an extra-large wooden fishing bait box.
My father used it, but I am listing it for sale as I am organizing his belongings.

This is a cypress wood bait box. Made in Japan.
The lid does not have magnets and opens and closes directly. It closes surprisingly securely. However, there is a slight gap due to misalignment of the lid, so it makes a scraping sound when opening and closing.
Also, I'm not entirely sure, but...
For sea fishing, it can be used for crabs, razor clams, sandworms, etc.
For mountain streams, it can be used for insect bait, etc.
It also seems suitable as a bait box for Japanese icefish.
The wood grain is beautiful, but there are dents, scratches, and dirt. Please check the photos.
The size is unknown. I have taken measurements, so please refer to the photos! This item does not come with a string.
