Antique Token Cufflinks from the New York Transit Museum in Original Box and COA

These cuff links are crafted from authentic dime-sized Y-cut New York transit tokens circulated from 1953 to 1970.  Offered in an antique style. Cuff links have sterling silver swivel findings. Each cuff link measures 5/8 in diameter.  Officially licensed by the MTA, each pair comes in a New York subway map-themed gift box with a Certificate of Authenticity  It took 11 years for Tokens & Icons to become the first licensee of the New York Transit Authority in 1991. 27 years later Tokens continues to produce this style under license to the MTA, your assurance of authenticity. Were possibly worn once but really think never worn. Could use a little polishing as have been stored away for many years. Bought in the transit museum in NYC. Sold out in stores!
