Vintage German Black Forest Cuckoo Clock White Floral Carved Regula 25-E

Condition: Used – Very Good, Working  This clock was purchased in Germany in 1996 by my father for my daughter during a family trip. It has hung in her room ever since and has been kept as a family piece.  The clock is currently working and cuckooing properly. It cuckoos on the half-hour and on the hour. The movement is marked:  ● Regula 25-E  ● Made in Germany  ● G.M. 1884288  ● 1692176  The clock has a beautiful white carved wooden case decorated with large leaf motifs, hand-painted pink and red flowers, and a carved bird on the roof. The dial has Roman numerals and decorative gold-toned hands and accents.  Details:  ● Genuine German mechanical movement  ● Two weight-driven chains  ● Original weights and pendulum  ● Cuckoo calls at the half-hour and hour  ● White carved and painted wooden case  ● Approximately 6 inches wide x 7.5 inches tall for the clock case  ● Purchased in Germany in 1996  ● Family-owned since new  Clock Features:  ● Moving cuckoo bird which moves out from behind it's door and chimes with it’s ’cuckoo' sound on the hour and half hour.  ● Moving pendulum that sways side-to-side.  ● Manual night-time sound shut-off lever.  ● 1-day movement (which means it needs to be wound manually only once a day).  ● Equipped with a German brass rack-strike movement which keeps perfect time as long as the clock is wound.  ● This clock features an extra thick solid wood case, for extra stability  ●Solid cast-iron 'pine-cone-shaped' weights.
