Bizen Ware Hiiro (Hidasuki) Flat Mizusashi with Cracked Lid, Paper Box

*Please note: This is an antique item, stored for a long time, and has minor scratches from use.
There are minor scratches on the underside of the cracked lid (photos 9, 10) and on the hinges, but there are no cracks or chips, and the hinge hardware is not rusted, so it is generally in beautiful condition.
There are no water leaks (photo 18).
There is a Hiiro mark on the bottom.
The paper box has writing in marker.
We hope you will make good use of it.

□ This is a flat mizusashi with a clear, beautiful, and elegant Hidasuki (reddish-brown襷 pattern) decoration.
This is a mizusashi with a wide and shallow opening, used in tea ceremonies during the furo season (May-October).
The appearance of a large amount of water creates a sense of coolness.

My mother used to run a tea ceremony class (Urasenke). As she has gotten older, she no longer uses these items, so I would like to gradually list them as I organize her antique collection.
I do not know the purchase date or the number of times they were used.

Although I am a novice in tea ceremony, I will answer any questions to the best of my ability.
I would appreciate your comments.
