Description
Sony Watchman FD-230 portable black-and-white analog television, manufactured January 1991. Features a 2.7” screen, telescoping antenna, built-in speaker, kickstand and wrist strap. Uses 4 AA batteries. Condition Pre-owned. Screen powers on and displays an image/static as shown. Unable to receive broadcast channels during testing, so tuner reception is not verified. This is an analog-only television; U.S. over-the-air analog TV broadcasting has been discontinued. Small crack in the upper plastic housing near the display, plus scratches and cosmetic wear from age/use. What’s Included Sony FD-230 Watchman only. Batteries and external power adapter are not included. Please Review Photos Please review photos for condition, measurements, included items, and wear shown; photos are part of the description. The inability to pick up current over-the-air channels is expected for an analog-only receiver: full-power U.S. analog broadcasts ended in 2009, and remaining low-power analog TV operations were required to end by July 2021.
