Wakasagi Bait Box (Medium) 6:4 Specification

I made a bait box for wakasagi fishing.
It is unpainted to enjoy the natural material.
The set includes an outer box, an inner box, a tray, and a ruler.
The tray is designed with a 6:4 ratio.
This item is priced lower than others because I made a mistake when inserting the mesh, as shown in the 10th photo. However, it does not affect usability.

Material: Hinoki cypress
Mesh: Stainless steel
Dimensions: Width 150mm, Depth 85mm, Height 40mm
Weight: Approximately 170g

The box is designed so that sawdust from maggots falls to the bottom. However, when the temperature is warm and the maggots are highly active, they may try to escape through the mesh, as shown in the last photo (the last photo is of my own bait box). The maggots can get stuck in the mesh, making them difficult to remove, which I found a bit stressful. Therefore, I made an additional tray.

I have also included a ruler as an accessory. It turns out to be surprisingly useful. Not only can it be used to measure wakasagi, but as shown in the photo, it can also be used as a lid stopper or as a spatula for cleaning the bait box after use.
