Principal Image: Enmei Jizo Bosatsu (mid-Kamakura period). This temple is the 62nd sacred site in the province. Rebuilt in the 3rd year of Genkō.
Originally a branch of Eihei-ji Temple in Echizen, it later changed affiliation and became part of the Rinzai Daitoku-ji School in the Genna era, with Abbot Takuan as its restorer.
The temple hall was rebuilt for the third time in the autumn of the 1st year of Jōkyō and has continued to the present day.
