Vintage Mele Masterwork Series jewelry box with an image of the 1769 oil painting “A Young Girl Reading” Florentine-style cream and gold gilt aesthetic, popular during the 1950s to 1970s. Image appears to have been torn slightly on the bottom right corner (see angled image). Could be re-covered by your own image, touched up with paint or left as-is, perfectly functional with a loved-and-handed-down feel. Interior is in great shape and hinges are sturdy.
