So it helps with spelling and diction and vocabulary all at once. Great for a 3 or 4 year old, or someone first learning the english language. Pronunciation is important, so this book does help with that. The pen is all plastic with a built in speaker. The book has thick binding and thick pages it is colorful and the letters are big and bold. This is giftable, since it does come in colorful box.
