Made in Japan
Set of 3 Urasenke tea scoops.
These may be part of the Urasenke successive grand masters' favorite bamboo tea scoops that were previously sold.
It is believed that my grandfather, born in the Meiji era and who taught the tea ceremony, used these during the Showa 20-30s (1945-1955).
Although faded and difficult to read accurately, there are characters in red on the back that appear to be Gen? Kō?, Rikyū?, and Nin??.
We can also accommodate requests for individual items.
