Vintage 1974 Mego Planet of the Apes Treehouse "Crow’s Nest" Observatory - Brown

VINTAGE 1974 MEGO PLANET OF THE APES TREEHOUSE CROWS NEST OBSERVATORY - BROWN ---------------------------------------- This is an original Crows Nest (also referred to as the observatory or lookout station) from the 1974 Mego Planet of the Apes Treehouse playset. A direct carry-over from the Action Jackson Jungle Treehouse, this piece was repurposed to serve as a high-altitude lookout for the Ape sentries guarding the village. The part is distinguished by its deep, reddish-brown plastic and the molded mounting bracket at the top, designed to hang from the treehouse's log support beams. For collectors, this is a frequently missing component, as it was often detached during play and easily lost. It is a vital piece for anyone aiming to restore a 1:9 scale vintage Mego POTA environment to its complete, boxed state. BROAD COMPATIBILITY * Mego POTA Treehouse: The primary intended playset for this accessory. * Action Jackson: Fits the Jungle Treehouse
