Description
Thank you for looking.
This is a small natsume (tea caddy) purchased at an antique market.
This is a small natsume made of wood and genuine lacquer.
It's also stylish as a candy dish, confectionery container, or pill case.
It's good that it's lightly water-resistant.
An acquaintance used a slightly larger natsume as a raw egg case for mountain climbing.
They have been using it for many years, saying it's good because it's light and doesn't crush or break.
At night, it can be used as a sake cup, with the lid serving as a small plate.
There are scuffs, scratches, and small chips in the lacquer.
Suitable for practical use.
