Description
This is a Wajima-nuri (Wajima lacquerware) natsume (tea caddy) with a pine needle chinkin (gold inlay) design.
I purchased it about 10 years ago. I recall it costing around 160,000 yen at the time.
The lower half is black, and the upper half is a gradation of vermilion, with pine needle chinkin applied all over.
The vermilion color is closest to the 5th image, but please understand that there will inevitably be some slight differences between the photo and the actual item.
