This belonged to my grandmother, who was a teacher of the Urasenke school of tea ceremony.
As it is an old item, there is some age-related deterioration, but from a layperson's perspective, it shows almost no signs of use. Considering its age, the condition is quite good.
The wooden box has some damage near the bottom.
This is a high-quality tea caddy that would be a refined addition to any occasion, offering excellent usability.
