This is a Hagi-ware matcha bowl.
It is a unique piece featuring a beautiful Gohonde (a blush-like pattern) in a pale pink color, and a Warikodai (cross-cut foot) as its distinctive characteristic.
This item allows you to enjoy the soft texture of the clay, unique to Hagi-ware, and the Hagi no Nanabake (seven transformations of Hagi), where the glaze develops more character with use. It would be perfect for practice, daily use, or as part of a collection.
