【Tea Ceremony Utensils】 Yashichida Oribe Numbered Tea Bowls (10 pieces) Ichito, With Original Box, Excellent Condition, R1777
184.80 $
Description
A set of 10 tea bowls in the Yashichida Oribe style by Ichito. These matcha bowls feature a beautifully imperfect, organically oval rim, allowing you to appreciate the beauty of asymmetry.
About Yashichida Oribe:
This is an extremely rare style of Oribe ware, fired in the early Edo period at the Yashichida kiln in Mino (present-day Kukuri, Kani City, Gifu Prefecture).
Compared to the robust style of typical Oribe ware, Yashichida Oribe is characterized by its elegant and modern designs, often featuring delicate floral or geometric patterns drawn with fine lines.
