The following is an excerpt from the manufacturer's comments:

・Highest class image quality for document cameras

The IPEVO V4K uses an 8-megapixel Sony CMOS sensor to provide users with the clearest images (resolution: 3264 x 2448), which is the highest class for document cameras. It is widely used for presentations, modeling, scanning books and magazines, QR codes, OCR, photo archiving, and more.

・Also for live cameras.
High-resolution, smooth live streaming

While the V4K is an excellent document camera, it also excels as a live streaming camera. It offers sufficient performance with a maximum of 30fps (frames per second) at Full-HD resolution and a maximum of 15fps even at 3264x2448.

The V4K is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Chromebook, so you can use it as a USB camera with numerous software applications that can recognize the V4K's video input.
