Vintage Pelouze Model P-2 Mechanical Postal Scale 2 lb Mid Century Office

Vintage Pelouze Model P-2 mechanical postal scale with a 2 lb capacity and 1/2 oz increments. Features the original postal rate chart on the front, including U.S. and international mailing rates. The scale has a beige/tan body with a metal weighing platform and classic mid-century office styling. It shows normal vintage wear from age and use, including surface scratches and marks on the metal platform and some minor wear to the body. Please review photos carefully for condition. Approximate height is about 6–7 inches depending on the position of the platform. No date label is present on the underside. Based on the design and comparable examples, it appears to date from approximately the 1970s. Great as a collectible vintage postal item, retro office accessory, prop, or display piece.
