Description
I purchased this on another auction site, and after buying it, I installed the nut and string guides, applied an F company decal, and used it for about two weeks. The previous owner rebuilt it, and it's a masterpiece with attention to detail evident throughout. There is a chip near the nut as shown in photo 4. It does not affect usability, but sensitive individuals should refrain from purchasing.

I am selling it because I replaced the neck with a maple fingerboard neck and no longer have a use for it.

Below are the comments from the previous owner:

This is a quilted maple neck with a jacaranda fingerboard.
It is a rebuilt neck from a previous auction where the truss rod was broken.

The fingerboard was also quilted maple, like the neck, but it was peeled off, the broken truss rod was removed, the groove was widened with a router and filled with hard maple, and then the truss rod groove was re-cut. To adjust the width and thickness of the neck, hard maple was attached to the neck material, planed, and then the jacaranda fingerboard was attached. Two carbon rods are embedded for reinforcement (visible from the nut groove).
Stainless steel jumbo frets are used.

The truss rod is ambidextrous. For reference, I used it with a 9-42 string gauge in standard tuning, tightened about 90 degrees.
The frets have been leveled, finished, and polished.
While it should be usable as is, if you lower the string height, there is a slight buzzing feeling around the 6th and 7th frets on the 3rd and 4th strings. I believe this can be corrected with fret leveling.

The screw holes for the neck joint have also been reinforced by securely gluing and filling them with a larger diameter hard maple dowel before re-drilling.

Also, although it's hard to see in the photos, the 6th string side of the frets is slightly angled towards the bridge.
When cutting the fret grooves, I used a printed scale diagram attached with tape, and it seems the attachment was slightly off.
Since the angle is uniform, there is no noticeable issue with the intonation.

Specifications:
Long scale (648mm), 22 frets, 400R, stainless jumbo frets, nut width 41.4mm, neck end 55.0mm, neck end thickness 25.3mm, depth to heel 19.3mm, nut groove width 5.3mm, depth 4.7mm. Includes Kluson-style tuners. The fingerboard surface is oil-finished only. The rest is finished with an ultra-thin urethane clear coat. (The neck joint surface has had the paint removed as it was re-planed with a router afterwards.)
