FENDER Genuine PLAYER II TELECASTER NECK

This is a neck removed from a new FENDER PLAYER Ⅱ TELECASTER.

Modern C neck shape
Maple fingerboard with 9.5-inch radius and rolled edges.

I used it for a while, but I'm selling it because I'm more interested in rosewood.

I have the impression that older Mexican-made necks often have issues with fingerboard edges and frets, but this neck is very good.

The back of the neck has a satin finish, which is smooth and easy to play, and the edges are very smoothly finished. This is exactly as described in FENDER's specifications.

The nut has also been filed low, and the quality in this area is comparable to recent Mexican-made, Japanese, and US-made models.

The original tuning machines were removed and replaced with GOTOH SD91s using conversion bushings.

I will leave the bushings in place. If you remove the bushings, you should be able to use FENDER's rotomatic tuning machines as they are.

The neck is not a raw wood color, but has a slightly amber-colored finish, so I think it would go well with vintage-style Telecasters.

FENDER genuine necks are reliable and safe. The careful finishing, unlike cheaper necks, leaves a good impression.
