Description
This is a Sapele (≠Mahogany) lumber blank.
My father, who enjoyed making guitars as a hobby,
purchased this from the American mail-order company LMI.
He roughly cut it himself to be used as an acoustic guitar neck.
Dimensions Explained in Image:
① Overall length
② Overall length up to the 0th fret
③ Headstock overall length
④ Width at the 0th fret
⑤ Width at the base of the neck
⑥ Width at the tip of the headstock
⑦ Angle between neck and headstock
The thickness of both the neck and headstock is approximately 2.8 cm.
