Have you ever thought the rod stand was too short and difficult to use when using the Fixcel Surf?
This product allows you to extend your Shimano rod stand by 21cm.

Personally...
I mainly fish for kiss (Japanese whiting) on the surf. I used to carry a Fixcel Surf + sand pole, but since I started using the extension kit, I no longer need the sand pole and have reduced my luggage.
Also, by angling the rod, the reel gets closer to me, making it easier to flip the bail when baiting, and it's been very useful.
I think you won't be able to let go of it once you use it.
