① Adjustable truss rod, used, StewMac product

Description
This was owned by my father, who enjoyed making guitars in his spare time.
It appears to have been actually mounted and shows signs of use. The rubber covering the rod is torn, and there is rust. I am not knowledgeable about truss rods, so I cannot provide detailed performance or evaluation.
It is approximately 6mm wide and 365mm long, with a 3.4mm hex wrench specification. I'm not sure what that would be in inches...
Compared to square-type truss rods, this is a slim and lightweight shaft. I recall my father mentioning that he tried using this type to aim for a lighter body material like mahogany or to achieve resonance throughout the entire neck, but I am unsure of the actual effect.
