■ Appeal of this Product
• 【A Suezukari (Widening Towards the End) Fan, a Symbol of Good Fortune】
A gorgeous fan (ogi) and flowers, primarily in gold, are depicted against a lustrous, jet-black background reminiscent of the night sky. The fan, in its open form, signifies suezukari = prosperity, making it a highly auspicious motif.
• 【A Masterpiece Showcasing the Artisan's Craftsmanship】
Although it is a synthetic lacquerware, artisans apply the coating by hand, one by one. Therefore, you can feel a subtle three-dimensionality not found in mass-produced prints, and a warmth unique to handmade items.
• 【Versatile Uses】
Not only can it be used as a letter case, but also as a storage box for valuables such as passbooks and seals, a storage box for Goshuincho (temple/shrine stamp books), or even as an interior accent to elegantly enhance your Japanese-style room.
■ Shipping Information
• The item will be carefully packaged with cushioning material (bubble wrap) to prevent scratches and protected from moisture before shipping.
