Hokuetsudo Tsuchioki Copperware Tea Ceremony Set, Blue-Green Antique Finish, Kettle, Kensui (Water Container), Chutaku (Teacups Saucers), Paulownia Box, Traditional Craft

This is a hammered copper tea set from Niigata's traditional craft, made by Hokuetsudo.

This is a work by Hiroshi Honma, the fourth-generation master craftsman from Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture. It is a very precious item.

This masterpiece is characterized by the profound sense of presence unique to hammered copper, which is made by striking a single sheet of copper, and the beautiful hammer marks created by the artisan's handwork.
The Blue-Gold Antique finish, in particular, has a deep, one-of-a-kind hue that gains more character with use.
