Soup bowl container, with lid, Showa retro, vintage item, storage box, wooden box
23.10 $
Description
Purchased at an antique shop over 15 years ago.
Used for storing small cords and equipment.
It is believed to be a suimono-wan ire (soup bowl container) from the early Showa period (faint writing is visible on the lid).
There are signs of insect damage on the inside of the lid (photos 7-10).
There is a gap between the bottom and the lid (bottom 6mm, lid 1mm).
As it is an item from that era, there are signs of age-related deterioration, scratches, and dirt (which can also be called character).
We recommend this item to those who appreciate this kind of atmosphere and realistic signs of use, and who understand its condition.
Price is firm for individual items.
Will be protected with cushioning material and shipped in a paper or plastic bag.
