Vtg Gustav Emil Ern 20.75 Slicer Knife Carbon Steel Round Tip Bullnose Carving  Vintage knife in good condition.   Carbon steel blade (alone) measures 15-1/2. Total length is 20-3/4.  Slicing edge is plain (no serration) and sharp, with no nicks.  Blade was badly tarnished and has been polished, so it looks much better, though it does still have  spots of tarnish as pictured.  Unfortunately, the makers mark did not survive the polishing, and is no longer visible. (I have included a picture of the knife before it was polished and upon very careful scrutiny it is possible to see some of the original mark.) There is, however, an engraving of the Gustav Emil Ern logo still visible on the wooden handle.
