Description
Brand: Unbranded / Made in Italy Material: Silver-Plated Brass Style: Baroque / Renaissance / Hollywood Regency Markings: Stamped “ITALY” on reverse edge. Vintage Italian dessert server featuring ornate pierced openwork filigree with a dimensional cherub (putti) angel surrounded by scrolling Baroque-style details. The decorative handle continues the elaborate floral and relief design, creating a beautiful old-world presentation piece. Good solid vintage condition with heavy, uniform tarnish, oxidation, and wear to the original silver plating, allowing the warm brass base to show through in areas. This creates an authentic aged patina. No bends, breaks, or repairs; openwork is intact. Left largely unpolished to preserve its vintage character. Ideal for serving cake, pie, pastries, or tarts, or for display in a china cabinet or vintage tablescape. May be gently polished if desired.
