Coleman Steel Belt Cooler Cam Latch Custom Parts Silver

This is a custom part for the popular Coleman Steel Belt cooler's cam latch receiver. It prevents the lid from opening when overpacked or when using gap tape to improve cooling performance.
We've seen an increase in customers repurchasing this item after being unsatisfied with similar products from other sellers, or buying it again for a second Steel Belt cooler after a positive experience with their first. We are confident you will be satisfied with our product!
Previously, we manufactured this part using aluminum and rubber plates, but due to concerns about the adhesive layer peeling, we now use a 3D printer to mold it with PLA filament (a type of hard plastic). The filament itself is colored, so there's no risk of paint chipping.
While the cam latch itself won't break even with overpacking, please be aware that excessive packing can potentially damage the hinges connecting the lid and body, or the metal plate holding the cam latch.
No modifications are necessary for installation. Simply remove three screws and replace the receiver.
Depending on the model, the lid may not close completely at first. However, as shown in photo 6, you can close it fully by applying gentle pressure with your hand. If the resistance is bothersome, you can adjust it by filing down any interfering areas.
