Vintage 1960's TEA TOWELS Lucerne Switzerland & Stratford Upon Avon Tibor Reich

Pair of deadstock unused vintage kitchen tea towels:  -Souvenir linen tea towel from Lucerne Switzerland vintage 1980's. Amazingly realistic print of Old Town, Musseg Wall, & Chapel Bridge reflecting off Lake Lucerne with snow-capped mountains in the background. About 19x28 inches  -Vintage 1970's souvenir tea towel designed by Tibor Reich, a prominent Hungarian-born British textile designer. These towels were commissioned by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in the 1960's and 1970's. Tibor Reich was known for his Deep Texture textiles & post-war modernist designs. Features a central illustration of Anne Hathaway's cottage in black framed by a vibrant orange border with stylized flowers & paisleys in shades of brown & yellow.
