Trapeze Tailpiece (also known as a blanco tailpiece) removed from a 1975 Gibson ES-335. Chrome finish. Likely compatible with other Gibson ES series guitars, Epiphone Casinos, and similar models.
This ES-335 is from 1975. When I acquired it, the original stop tailpiece had already been installed as a common modification. The previous owner removed this original trapeze tailpiece and kept it carefully stored in its case. The photos show everything included. Screws are not included. The chrome plating is in remarkably clean condition for being half a century old.
Based on circumstantial evidence, such as the modification history mentioned above, the texture consistent with other metal parts, and the fact that it was stored in the pocket of the original hard case for an extended period, I believe this to be an authentic period-correct part.
