Vintage Hull Pottery / Hull Ware Little Red Riding Hood Cookie Jar #967

Vintage Hull Pottery Little Red Riding Hood cookie jar (Model #967 or #135889), featuring a glossy ceramic finish, a red hood and cape, and delicate floral decals on the white skirt.   Maker: Hull Pottery (Crooksville, Ohio)  Era: This is an early production piece, from @ 1943.  Bottom of jar indicates 967 Hull Ware Little Red Riding Hood Patent Applied For USA.   Design Details: Depicts the fairy tale character holding an open wicker basket with a folded apron and floral accents.  Measures approximately 12.5 assembled  CALL OUTS (please refer to the last four pictures with the blue circles): ~ there is some red paint missing from the ride side of her cape - there is some brown paint missing from the bread in her basket - there is small chip on the backside / underside of her skirt  - it looks like a crack between her hands but nothing can be felt so I'm not sure if this is something that occurred during production but before paint
