Charming vintage Japanese ceramic Majolica-style cookie jar crock with lid, produced in Japan during the mid-20th century (circa 1930s-1950s). Features a bright yellow background decorated with embossed hand-painted floral motifs in deep blue, maroon red, and green, along with side tab handles. The entire piece showcases a glossy crazed glaze finish, and the underside is stamped Made in Japan. Stands approximately 6 inches high with an opening diameter of about 4.5 inches. Condition is very good for its era, displaying natural vintage crazing throughout the glaze as pictured, with no major structural cracks or large chips.
