Fender ST62-TX Body - Alder, 2.0kg, Fully Shielded

This is the genuine body from a Fender Japan high-end model, the ST62-TX (equipped with Texas Special pickups). This unit was manufactured by Dyna Gakki around 2004-2006 (R serial period).
Considering its age, this unit is in excellent condition and has been modified for battle-ready specifications with professional noise reduction measures.

■ Body Appraisal and Sound Characteristics
• Material: Alder 3-piece
• Uses the classic alder wood. Weighing approximately 2.0kg, it has a moderate mass, characterized by a solid low-mid range and tight resonance that isn't overly aggressive. It pairs exceptionally well with the slab fingerboard of the same model, producing a thick and well-defined Stratocaster sound.
• Color: 3-Tone Sunburst
• The red tones remain strong, and a glossy sheen is maintained.

■ Professional-Grade Customization (This is the key feature!)
• Full shielding treatment applied to the entire cavity by a repair shop.
• Conductive paint has been applied to all pickup and control cavities, followed by full shielding with copper foil tape.
• Dramatically reduces the hum noise inherent to high-output single-coil pickups like the Texas Specials. The stability when using distortion and the clear sound quality for home recording are incomparable to unmodified units.
■ Condition
• Exterior: While there are minor scratches and scuffs from use, it remains in beautiful condition considering it's approximately 20 years old. The mirror-like finish still retains its beautiful luster.
• Compatibility: The neck joint is highly precise, making it ready for immediate installation.
