The design is pure statement scale: a broad circular face turns pale snakeskin into the entire visual field, framed by a narrow gold-tone rim that sharpens the contrast instead of competing with the texture. The scale pattern creates miniature geometric relief, giving the ivory surface far more movement than a flat insert.  The underside is equally architectural, with a wide polished shank supporting the oversized disc rather than pretending this is delicate jewelry. At size 6, the proportions are intentionally dramatic—more wearable object than ordinary cocktail ring.
