Vintage cast iron smelting / pouring ladle featuring a long handle with curved hanging hook and a formed pour spout. Approximately 10–10½” long overall as shown in the photos. Great primitive industrial collectible for a blacksmithing, foundry, cast iron, or farmhouse collection. These types of ladles were traditionally used for melting and pouring metals such as lead or other low-melting materials. Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related surface wear, dark patina, and minor oxidation. No obvious cracks or breaks noted.
