Vintage Patented Magnetic Faux Pearl Necklace Clip On Earrings Set

Unique vintage gold-tone necklace and matching clip-on earrings featuring coral-colored faux pearls and a fascinating patented interchangeable design.  The clip-on earrings feature removable magnetic faux pearl ornaments. Each pearl insert lifts from the earring setting and attaches magnetically, allowing the decorative ornaments to be changed. Both original coral-colored inserts shown are present, and the magnetic mechanism is functional.  The earrings are marked PAT. NO. 2752764, corresponding to a U.S. patent issued in 1956 for an interchangeable magnetic earring ornament design.
