Kagura Mask
This is a mask made of clay.
I believe I purchased it in Nagano or Akita prefecture.
It can be used for decoration with the purple string.
It is not meant to be worn like a festival mask, but rather as a decoration.
It depicts the lower face of a man, with a red, angry expression. The eyes are gold and have holes. The nose also has holes.
The mouth is a downturned he shape, giving it a very angry look.
It is a powerful mask. The back is painted black.
The thickness is approximately 2 cm at the thickest part and about 1 cm at the thinnest part.
It is protected by wood chips.
The outer box is deteriorated and the top lid is missing.
It will be shipped in a cardboard box with bubble wrap.
