Thank you very much for viewing.
This is a wooden, hand-carved mask.
It was part of my family's collection.
I was told it was commissioned from a mask craftsman over 30 years ago.
There is paint peeling around the mouth and some dirt in several places.
How about using it for Kagura, festivals, or traditional music performances, or as a wall decoration or accessory for Japanese attire?
Although it has not been used for actual dancing, it is an old item that has been stored at home. I would appreciate it if you could consider it after viewing the photos and understanding its condition.
According to online research,
it appears to be branded as Koritsukuri (工里作),
but it seems to be a mask made by Hitoe Tsuchikata.
