These are Japanese-made sandals from Nishibe Chemical Co., Ltd. in Nara Prefecture.

Although it's a relatively new model among Nishibe Chemical's thong sandals, the popular strongest beach sandals, the Sea San, is now available in size 3L!

While preferences may vary between this model and the No. 570 (Haha-jima Gyosan), we highly recommend them not only for outdoor activities like the beach and mountains but also for town and resort use.

They have a wide fit, allowing your toes to rest securely on the footbed, and their integrated structure prevents the thong from coming off like on typical beach sandals. The thinner thong also makes them less likely to cause pain between the toes (individual differences may apply). Of course, like Gyosan sandals, they offer excellent grip.
