Louis Vuitton Vintage Small Vachetta Leather Luggage Tag w/ Strap Made in France

Vintage Louis Vuitton small-size luggage tag. This petite tag is approximately 3” size is less commonly seen than the larger versions, making it ideally for a handbag, smaller travel piece or LV accessory collection.  The tag features a warm honey Vachetta patina, intact contrast stitching and a particularly deep, crisp “LOUIS VUITTON PARIS made in France” heat stamp beneath the flap.  Details include an adjustable Vachetta buckle strap, brass-tone buckle and hardware, Louis Vuitton-stamped rivet, traditional yellow stitching and a concealed identification area.  Approximate Measurements: Tag: 3” H × 2” W Overall length with strap extended: approx. 8”  Condition: Very nice vintage condition overall. The tag body is especially well preserved, retaining good structure, clean stitching and an attractive honey-toned patina. The interior maker’s stamp remains exceptionally crisp.  The strap shows more evidence of previous use, including visible buckle and adjustment impressions, creasing, surface wear and areas of darker patina, particularly around the buckle and adjustment holes.
