Vintage Coach Plaza Bag (Style #9865). This rare, highly collectible silhouette is crafted from Coach’s iconic, thick black glovetanned cowhide leather. Handcrafted in the United States during the late 1980s / early 1990s, this timeless piece showcases the incredible craftsmanship of Coach's original era. Features a structured top handle, an elegant curved front flap with a solid brass turnlock closure, a full-length exterior back slip pocket, and a roomy main compartment with an interior zippered pocket. It includes its original detachable shoulder/crossbody strap attached via heavy-duty brass lobster claw clasps, as well as the original matching leather Coach hangtag. Condition: Excellent vintage condition! The leather is incredibly thick, supple, and structurally sound with a gorgeous natural patina. The solid brass hardware functions perfectly. The interior features a clean, unlined raw suede lining. The historic Coach creed stamp is perfectly crisp, deep, and fully legible with its pre-1994 registration number (No. 0080-230) and the Made in the United States designation.
