Striking vintage Japanese ceramic salt and pepper shaker set featuring a sculptural interlocking design. The two tall geometric shakers nest together along an abstract curved, puzzle-like seam, creating a wonderfully modern silhouette when displayed as a pair. Finished in a deep glossy aubergine/dark purple glaze. Marked JAPAN on the underside of both pieces.
