Vtg Dahlstedt Pottery Signed Stoneware Chip Dip Tray Platter Arkansas Monogram

Beautiful handmade wheel-thrown studio stoneware chip and dip serving platter crafted by David and Becki Dahlstedt of Dahlstedt Pottery. Operating out of Mountain View, Arkansas, since the late 1970s, the Dahlstedts are widely celebrated for producing exceptional, functional folk-art inspired ceramics rooted in the rich artistic heritage of the Ozarks region. This multi-component, one-piece serving tray features a satin-white base glaze detailed with soft, sponge-painted blue hydrangea or foliage clouds. It is beautifully complemented by delicate, hand-brushed green trailing vines, detailed leaves, clusters of red berries, and a crisp hand-painted blue outer rim line. The underside of the platter showcases the maker's authentic marks, featuring both the fluid cursive Dahlstedt incised signature and their signature square DB studio chop mark (cleverly featuring a mirrored back-to-back D and B monogram). This piece is in exceptional vintage/pre-owned condition with absolutely no chips, cracks, or glaze crazing. It is a striking and highly functional addition to any country style home, modern farmhouse table, or American art pottery collection. Please see all photos for close-up views of the hand-painted artwork and the authentic maker marks on the base.
